Film Diary
Entry 1: It is the summer holidays and i have filmed my first shots in my living room of my Brother, Mum and Dad on my Panasonic Lumix GH2. These are the shots where they are being brainwashed by the news channel. There was a small problem with moving the furniture and lack of lighting but was resolved in the end.
Entry 2: It is the first half term after the summer holidays and we are going up as a family to Sheffield to see my brother and do the filming in the peak district for the hill scenes where the brother character struggles to learn the full truth.
Entry 3: I have booked the theatre and organised to shoot the newsroom scenes. Lots of preparation was needed for this. I needed 8 people all in one room in the space of 2 hours which wasn't long enough but we got a passable number of shots.
Entry 4: I'm going to Sheffield again to get some more shots of my brother as the message of his journey was not quite clear so i added a little more to it. There was a problem however as my brother had a haircut which meant i couldn't film his head. So i just filmed his body and arm.
Entry 5: Final shot of brother complete, just went down my street to get shots of the character to ultimately learn that his journey is coming to a horrific end.

Plan For Digipak
Plan For Digipak Photos
For my digipak design i would like the outside to be like a cave with a photo of my artist in that cave. This represents ignorance. However for the Inside I would like it to be beautiful nature with a strong green theme which represents coming out of the cave of ignorance into the beautiful world outside of knowledge. With a hidden message of, 'listen to the CD and your mind will be expanded. You will be taken out of your cave of ignorance into the light of knowledge'.

I chose this person because they are the right age and is actually a father. This person is my father and therefore that makes it easier to convince the person to do the filming as well as him being freely available to help me. He was also inclined to help me as he is my Dad. My Dad was also helpful as he acted as a chauffeur.
